Sea Auckland provides the only guided jetski tours in the heart of Auckland City. Follow the Sea Auckland guide & ride your own jetski from the inner harbour, out into the Hauraki Gulf & even to world famous Waiheke Island. By providing the safest, most comfortable WaveRunner Fleet, you can enjoy the great outdoors with Auckland’s premier Jet Ski tour company.
We enjoy the water & want you to aswell. We saw an opportunity to provide visitors & kiwi’s the unique chance to blend the boundaries of recreational adventure & environmentally conscious tourism. The Auckland harbour is complex with reefs, rocks, speed zones & rules of the sea. By providing guided jet ski adventures, we ensure you maximise your riding time without needing to worry “Where am I now?”
We are visitors to The Waitemata Harbour & Hauraki Gulf, and wish to advocate for their importance by bringing you to witness them.
What is Jet Riders?
The whole idea came from chatting with people like you. Lots of past tour customers loved the experience and wanted something more regular without the cost of ownership. Full safety gear and training is provided, along with a fleet of Jet Skis which are Approved by Maritime New Zealand and within current Survey as per the legal requirments. We also hold a DOC Pest free Warrant which is required to allow you to visit the Islands in the Hauraki Gulf whilst protecting its natural beauty!
Here’s how it works:
We’ve launched two membership plans:

Casual Cruiser – $24/week
Includes 5 bookings per year — perfect for the occasional thrill-seeker. -
Ultimate Explorer – $58/week
Includes 4 bookings per month — ideal if you want regular sessions without lifting a finger.
There will be extras and addons available with more being released over time. We have some exciting things in store!
In the name of transparency, you’ll pay a one-time sign-up fee (just like a gym or club membership).
But after that, your only cost is your weekly membership. You can be looking at over $16k in savings which I reckon is pretty damn decent!
Why this makes sense:
Owning your own ski? You can be looking at $20k+ just to get started.

We’ve built Jet Riders to be something different — no stress and no ownership costs. Just you, the water, and a ski ready to go whenever you are. It’s seriously the easiest way to ride.
So whether you’re eyeing up the Casual Cruiser for a few epic sessions a year, or going all-in with the Ultimate Explorer, we’ve kept things super flexible, and the perks (e.g. tour discounts and mates rates on extra jetski hire) are just the beginning.

By practising kaitiakitanga (guardianship), we bring people into the natural environment to witness its beauty, leaving & taking nothing but memories, photos & appreciation.

Our fleet of modern Wave Runner Jet Ski’s allow efficient, low impact enjoyment, whilst our Bayswater Marina location, limits our use of precious time, energy & resources.
As a commercial operator, it is a requirement to obtain and hold a Pest Free Warrant to visit islands in the Hauraki Gulf. We are proud to advocate this and do our part to protect the stunning beaches and islands on our doorstep.
Where are we?
We are located within Bayswater Marina, Auckland. This handy location gives direct access to the Harbour and beyond, with facilities such as bathrooms, parking and more.
Because our Ski’s are on floating docks, all you have to do is grab your kit from our storage, pop down the ramp onto the dock, do your pre checks and away you go. When you come back in, fill it up at the fuel pumps directly next to our berthing (currently under maintenance), pop it back up on our floating dock, give it a clean and a flush and you’re all done! No hassle with trailers and laughing and retrieving!
